Teaching and advise on all garden topics from the knowledge of an experienced gardener, plant and bonsai grower. Design with a view to easy, trouble-free maintenance is the key to enjoying your garden. It works to the definition of good design is as perfect as possible a match between the aesthetics and the practicalities of the garden. Consider your existing garden or choose a style of garden, and consider your lifestyle. The extent to which you can balance the two dictates how beautiful it will remain over the years. A garden is a dynamic thing! It will grow and mature, whatever you do or do not do: it will not stop if you do, nor slow down if you do, so initial care in planning and planting will pay dividends in the future

      What I do.........
      Garden Visits:- Individual analysis of problems and suggestions for remedies and options.
      Independent advice on design options : planting - what to plant where, pros. and cons. of different plants and plantings, plant groups, plants for special purposes, year round colour and scent, plants for flower arranging, security, and work and visual implications.
      Maintenance Advice - How to maintain the fertility and well-being of your garden without resort to unnecessary chemicals, and with a minimum of effort and expenditure. How to prioritise the work so that you save time in the long run.
      Teach and talks with slides & demonstrations for groups on a range of garden topics, including 'Year Round Color' : 'A Hundred Ways of Using Pots' : 'Gardening for Wildlife' : 'Biodiversity in the Garden' : 'Maitaining Soil and Fertility' : 'The Nitty Gritty of Pruning' : 'Garden Bonsai' : 'Bonsai Styling & Miniature Gardens' : 'The Garden for the Education and Entertainment of Children' , 'Garden Problem Solutions' & so on.
